Look of the Week: 80s Inspiration

The 80s was a decade where I grew up experimenting with my clothes. It was a time where I discovered I wanted to dress differently from the girls at school while choosing pieces from different styles I was seeing around me, in magazines and in music videos.

Until this day, I mix and match different styles I see and create my own. When I help woman find their style, I keep this philosophy in mind while staying focused on what they like wearing. I also love adding a touch of glamour whenever I can. It doesn’t have to be the fanciest necklace or earrings. Just something sparkly that makes me happy and feel like a queen. 🙂

In the look below I created, I took my 80s rock t-shirt and added a fun skirt to mix the feminine and masculine. Then, I added some shiny jewelry. I kept the 80s touch with a cool casssette clutch. Finally, the rock look is completed with some combat boots.

This look might not be for every woman. And, that’s okay. The goal is to have fun with your outfit! No matter how old you are or what your body shape might be at this moment, fashion is meant for us to have fun, to show our personnality, and not to be afraid to show your beautiful self to the world.
